Azad Kashmir
PKR 17,500 per person, sharing room
Three days in Azad Kashmir, with pickup in Lahore or Islamabad. PKR 17,500 per person in a sharing room, or PKR 46,500 for a couple in a separate room. The Neelum valley is the point. A third night is a different plan.
Kashmir in three days from the plains is one long road, one day on the Neelum, and the road home. We name it that way. The couple rate is for a separate room. The per-person rate is a sharing room on the same departure.
The road
The approach is through Murree or the expressway toward Muzaffarabad, then up the Neelum. Fridays stack the hill road. We leave early from Lahore or Islamabad and do not promise Keran and Sharda and a waterfall walk in the same afternoon.
Day by day
Day 1 — Pickup to the valley
Collection in Lahore or Islamabad, then the climb toward Muzaffarabad and the Neelum. The night is in the valley. We do not drive the last hour after dark if the road has slowed.
Day 2 — Along the Neelum
One stretch of the river, chosen by season and how far the group should go. Keran or Sharda, not both as a checklist. Time at the water, then back to the room while there is still light.
Day 3 — Home
Down to the pickup city. Lahore or Islamabad by night. If someone needs a later drop, it is written into the plan before the day starts.
Before you decide
- The photograph on this page is the character of these hills, not a claim that the frame was shot in Neelum.
- Winter dates need a real coat. The valley is colder than Lahore on the same morning.
- Best season: March to November, with a quieter winter if the group wants snow and has agreed to the cold
- Muzaffarabad sits in a valley. The Neelum road climbs, and Keran and Sharda are higher and colder than the city you left.

Along the way
- The Neelum road
- A night in the valley
- Keran or Sharda when the day can hold one of them
